In Matthew 6, Jesus teaches us about the providence of God and how we, as His followers, are called to trust Him completely. As we face the anxieties and challenges of life—whether it's the transition back to school, the pressures of work, or the uncertainties of the future—Jesus reminds us not to worry, but to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. He asks us, "Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" The answer is clear: Our worry accomplishes nothing, but our faith in God's providence brings peace and direction.

We are called to live as a people set apart, trusting in the God who knows our needs and provides for us in every circumstance. Like the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, we are cared for by a loving, sovereign Creator who knows us by name. As we move into this new season, let us refocus our eyes on Jesus, laying our anxieties at His feet, and committing our lives to Him. When we seek God first, He will take care of the rest. Let us trust in Him and walk in faith, knowing that He is in control.
