Enter His gates with Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a time of celebration and gratitude, but as believers, our thankfulness should go beyond the feast. Psalm 100 reminds us to shout joyfully, serve with gladness, and sing praises to our God—not just for the blessings we see, but because He is good, holy, just, and loving. Let us not simply focus on the gifts but on the Giver, praising the Lord for His faithfulness to all generations. Through the cross, He demonstrated His justice by addressing our sin and His love by providing reconciliation through Jesus Christ. This is the foundation of true thanksgiving.
So as we gather with family, exchange recipes, and enjoy traditions, let us also enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Let us be a people who live with gratitude in every season, meditating on who God is and what He has done. Remember, joy comes from the Lord—not from circumstances—and He calls us to worship Him with gladness, giving thanks for the finished work of the cross. Come before Him with a heart full of praise, for His loving-kindness endures forever!
