Favor with God and Man
In Luke 2:39-52 we see the incredible story of Jesus as a child. Together, we reflect on how God works not only in the miraculous but also in the mundane. From the humility of Christ’s birth to his astonishing understanding at the temple as a 12-year-old, we see the divine intersecting with the ordinary. This reminds us to remain faithful and diligent in our everyday lives, knowing God is present in both the extraordinary and the simple acts of obedience.
Through the lens of Jesus’s growth in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, we are challenged to grow spiritually and faithfully serve Him in all seasons of life. No matter how routine or challenging our days may seem, God calls us to trust, follow, and honor Him. Let’s be inspired by Christ’s example and encouraged that, whether in moments of waiting or action, God is always at work.
