Weekly Update | February 11th
Worship is Both Private and Public
Jesus worshipped both in public and in private. If we are followers of Jesus and we seek to be like Him, so too must we worship both in public and in private. We should not neglect one for the other, for we are meant to worship God in our quiet times when we are alone, and we are also meant to worship God with the corporate gathering of believers. If somebody tells you they can worship wherever they are and don't need church, I agree that they should worship wherever they are! But if they neglect the gathering of believers and use that as an excuse, are they truly worshipping the God of the Bible who desires for us to gather corporately? Do you worship the Lord both in public and in private?
God Bless,
