The Practice of Godliness
None of us is godly by our own power. We are only godly because of God's grace, through learning about Him and drawing closer to Him. "Let your light shine. Be a city on a hill. Be set apart." Here in the Keys, we often talk about being a lighthouse - pointing others toward Christ and letting His light shine through us. Share the gospel with everyone. How do you let your light shine? By telling others about Jesus. How do you let your light shine? By practicing godliness - by becoming more like Christ. I want to encourage you this week to practice godliness. Dive into Scripture and live like Christ. Shine a light on the world. He will drive out sin in ways we cannot, but only Christ can.
