The Context of the Apostles
Trust in Jesus. Give your life to Him and follow Him. Be sent out. We have the Holy Spirit in us now, and we are sent charged by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is God, to tell others the good news: to spread the kingdom of God. In that sense, we are apostles. We are messengers with an official capacity. What is that official capacity? It's found at the end of Matthew: the Great Commission. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." I pray that we all do that - share the gospel and share the good news of the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ saves.
