The Wonder of Christ's Death and Resurrection
This week we walked through the wonder of Jesus Christ, from his eternal existence to his return. We marveled at the miracle of his birth, the mystery of his perfect childhood, and the power of his ministry: Healing the sick, calming storms, casting out demons, and raising the dead. Every moment of his life pointed to the mission for which he came, to seek and to save the lost. That mission is not abstract. It’s personal. Jesus came for you. Jesus came for me.
We saw the wonder of his death and resurrection, how he took the full weight of sin on himself and conquered the grave so we could have life. And that’s not the end of the story. Jesus is returning, and until then, he has given us a mission. Go and make disciples. Go and tell the world the good news. That the broken can be made whole. That the lost can be found. That life is possible in the name of Jesus Christ. Let his kingdom come and his will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
