God Is With Us
Jesus is not merely a created being, but the eternal Word of God, existing before all time and space. He is the Creator through whom all things were made, the source of life itself, and the light that shines in the darkness of our world. As John unfolds this profound truth, we discover that Jesus fully reveals the Father to us. He is God in the flesh, the tangible representation of the Almighty who became human so we could see, hear, and touch the very glory of God. This is the foundation upon which everything else in our faith rests.
But here's where it becomes personal for you and me. The question John poses is simple yet life-changing: Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? When we receive Him, we become children of God, not in some generic sense, but as genuine believers who have accepted His free gift of salvation. We need Him every moment of every day. We cannot do anything apart from Him. As we study His Word and allow Him to transform our lives, we experience His grace upon grace. The only thing that truly matters in this life is Jesus and our personal relationship with Him. Will you respond to His light, and choose to follow Him?
