What Do I Need to Sacrifice to Follow Jesus?

We cannot look back. As the Apostle Paul writes in Philippians, "We need to forget what lies behind and focus on the goal set before us, on running the race, on the finish line."

So, which of these do you need to lay down and sacrifice at the foot of the cross?

Do you need to give up your comfort at home, in your complacency?

Do you need to sacrifice your comfort in fulfilling worldly obligations to prioritize your greater responsibilities to the kingdom of God?

Or do you need to stop hesitating and surrender your own timetable to follow God's timing?

Which of these obstacles is holding you back from truly following Christ in your life? I pray that this challenges you. It’s an important lesson for all of us: to lay down what's good to embrace God's best.
