Weekly Update | February 10th
Jesus Came to Save, Not Destroy
We should not reject those who reject us and want to destroy or wipe them out. That is not why Jesus came. We shouldn't want to destroy people who may have a different number of Scriptures than us. We should not seek to destroy those who disagree with us.
Instead, we should aim to save them by sharing the truth of Jesus Christ, the gospel, and nothing but the gospel. The world needs Jesus, so we must not water down the gospel. We shouldn't tell people they can believe whatever they want, because that condemns them straight to hell.
Alternatively, we should tell them about Jesus Christ, who came to take away the sins of the world. He is fully man and fully God. And should you repent and believe in Him, you may be saved.
Rather than praying for people's destruction, we should pray for their salvation and share how Jesus Christ saves.
God Bless,
Pastor Brandon
