The True Meaning of the Good Samaritan

​Do you know the story of the Good Samaritan?

Do you truly understand the context behind the parable of loving our neighbors, helping those in need, and praying for those who persecute us and our enemies? These actions give us the greatest opportunity to share the gospel.

The most important need we can meet for our neighbor isn't a physical need, though that's helpful. The greatest need is to tell them the good news of Jesus Christ, who came into this world, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross as the atonement for our sins. When we believe in Him and repent from our sins, we may be saved.

I pray that message convicts you this week. It challenged and convicted me as well.

Go and do the same.

Who can you show the love of Christ to this week? Who can you reach with the gospel, especially with Easter coming up?
