Jesus is a Different Kind of King

​Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and the crowds shouted, "Hosanna!" But just a couple of days later, those same people would shout, "Crucify Him!"

Palm Sunday is when we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. However, the crowds turned and rejected Him because Jesus is a different kind of king.

Other kings have taken over nations and conquered to expand their own kingdoms, whereas Jesus died to secure His.

Instead of like the crowd who shouted, "Hosanna," thinking Jesus was coming for a physical deliverance, we should shout, "Hosanna," because Jesus saves us. Jesus saves us by securing our salvation. For those who belong to Him, we can have hope. And we can share the good news that Jesus saves.
