The Truth of Christ’s Resurrection
He is risen! This past week, we celebrated Resurrection Sunday, when Jesus Christ rose from the grave, conquering death and sin, saving us.
The resurrection should inspire us to change our lives, not to be content to stay where we are but to read the scriptures, turning from our sin, and following Jesus Christ.
Because being a Christian isn’t about us; it’s about God. It’s not about doing what we feel is right or what we think is good, but about doing what God tells us is good.
It means denying ourselves, taking up our crosses, and following Him.
That includes turning away from those sins that the world takes pride in and celebrates.
We need to turn away from those because they are sins. God calls these things wrong.
It also means not focusing on our selfishness or seeking revenge.
Are you following Jesus Christ, the true resurrected King and Lord of your life?
And if He is, how has He changed your life? How will you live differently?
God Bless,
Pastor Brandon
