The Kingdom of God Withstands Opposition
Jesus teaches all these lessons in Luke 11:14-26 to demonstrate his power over opposition, demons, and Beelzebub: Satan.
In fact, he calls Satan a strong man protecting his household. But then one stronger comes to defeat him. Satan is the strong man, trying to protect his possessions, that was us! Before Jesus saved us, we all belonged to Satan, on the way to an eternity separated from God. But then Jesus, the stronger One, comes, defeats Satan, cleans our house, and sets us free with finality, because Jesus is far greater, far more powerful than any other power!
If we walk in Jesus, we can have a hope that we can find nowhere else, the way, the truth, and the life, the only way to the Father, Jesus the Messiah, the Savior.
