The Secret to True Wisdom

The man known as the wisest man who ever lived, King Solomon, spoke to us about how to truly gain wisdom. He encourages us in Proverbs 3:5-8 that there are three things one must do to truly find wisdom.

The first is to trust in the Lord. To trust in the Lord with all one's heart, not just some parts, but every part of you; trust in God even when we don't see the answer.

Second, to know the Lord, to submit to Him, and to grow in our knowledge of Him through reading the Scriptures, learning more about Him, most of all through Jesus Christ.

And finally, through fearing the Lord, growing in a divine reverence for the Creator of the universe—who is holy, righteous, and just—who sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to save us.

True wisdom is found in trusting the Lord, knowing the Lord, and fearing the Lord God Almighty.
