Weekly Update | November 4th
Christ’s Identity
Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus is the Christ of God. Come to take away the sins of the world. Jesus loves to call himself the Son of Man, showing his humility but also his divinity as the foretold one. Then he says he must suffer at the hands of the religious leaders, but he also says he will rise on the third day, because we can trust that even though Jesus was crucified on the cross, he rose on the third day. We can have hope because of that resurrection. So I pray that you, just like Peter and the disciples, can make that great confession: "I follow Jesus Christ, the Christ of God, the Christos Theos, who came to take away the sins of the world!"
God Bless,
Pastor Brandon
