Why Do You Have Hope?

Why do you have hope? Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, came into the world, and we celebrate that at Christmas. He grew up sinless, was crucified, and paid the price for our sins. He was raised on the third day, conquering death and sin. We do not place hope in the things of this world, in our jobs, in our finances, in our loved ones. Because what if we lose any or all of those? Where will our hope be then? But if our hope is in Christ, we can lose everything and still have hope because of Jesus Christ and what he has already done. Let me encourage you this Advent season to have hope - not in the things of this world, but in Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross - and to share what Jesus did for us with the whole world.
