Heed the Signs of Christ’s Return
Have you ever felt a cool breeze and known it was going to rain?
Every day, we observe many signs and make predictions based on them.
Just as there are physical signs, Jesus' teachings show that there are spiritual signs revealing His ministry. He told the crowds when He was going to die on the cross. Today, we see spiritual signs that remind us we need to be prepared for Christ's return. Just as weather signs and traffic signals guide us, certain signs indicate that Jesus' return is closer now than ever before. If we become lazy and complacent, we could miss these important warnings.
We may soon find it is too late.
It would be foolish to waste the time we have now, time to spread the gospel before Jesus comes. Let us not delay; let us be ready for Jesus' return. There is no greater calling than following Jesus, spreading the gospel, and worshiping God by making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded us. I encourage you to fulfill that Great Commission each day by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with your friends, family, and loved ones.
This will be my final weekly update for a season.
Perhaps for a month or two, because I am about to go on paternity leave and will have my hands full. I appreciate your prayers, and I am very excited. Thank you so much for tuning in. I pray that God will show you His favor and that you will use your lives to worship Christ in everything you do, in how you speak to others, and in how you live. Make the time you have, be in the scriptures, show those fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
Live a life set apart from the world so that people will see that you belong to the King, Jesus Christ.
Don't waste even a moment.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you. I pray that the Lord will be with you and that you will honor Him during this next season.
